Mine That Bird Wins the 135th Running of the Kentucky Derby in 50-1SHOCKER!!!
The second biggest upset in the 135 years of running the Kentucky Derby just took place. Mine that bird charged up the rail coming out of the final turn to win. And win he did. He easily pulled away the last few hundred feet to make history. He closed like a damn freight train. Winning the Derby by that much thoughts have to turn to a possible Triple Crown. Purchased for $9,500, Mine That Bird easily made his owner back that money and then some.... This was jockey Calvin Borel's second Kentucky Derby win.
Still watching the TV Borel is going crazy and the crowd is loving this victory. A great and historic win.
