Justice Scalia Forced to Poke His Head Out of the Ivory Tower
I just read this story by scimitar on Daily Kos and it is amazing. I had to share it. It is one of those things that is so genius and simple but you would never think to do.
OK, I'll add a brief intro here. Justice Scalia is a very conservative Justice on the Supreme Court. He has routinely held that there is no Constitutionally protected right to privacy. If companies or whoever dig through your stuff, too bad. You have no Constitutional protection according to Scalia. So this is what one professor from Fordham University and his class decided to do:
It would appear that Scalia does not like the taste of the real world applicability to his conservative rulings. If nothing else he was forced to peek over the ivory tower he lives in, even if for just a little while. Bravo to Professor Reidenberg and his students. Bravo.

His class turned in a 15-page dossier that included not only Scalia's home address, home phone number and home value, but his food and movie preferences, his wife's personal e-mail address and photos of his grandchildren, reports Above the Law.Genius!!! Absolutely genius. His response:
"Professor Reidenberg's exercise is an example of perfectly legal, abominably poor judgment. Since he was not teaching a course in judgment, I presume he felt no responsibility to display any," the justice says, among other comments.HAA, what a tool. What is the matter Scalia? It is alright for the rabble to have their information spread everywhere without anything to be done about it, but when it comes to the elites how dare this have happened. I will point out that Scalia was forced to say it was perfectly legal.

I honestly don't understand the big fuss made over nudity and sex in films. It's silly.

I feel impelled to speak today in a language that in a sense is new-one which I, who have spent so much of my life in the military profession, would have preferred never to use. That new language is the language of atomic warfare.
