You may have noticed that I am quick to call the Democratic leadership in the Congress a bunch of wimps who fold at the first sign of resistance.  Well Harry Reid decided to be the poster child (if he wasn't already) for this mentality.  He waded into the Gitmo controversy today:

At this time, he opposes transferring detainees to American prisons. If the administration proposes a plan that recommends the transfer of some detainees to American prisons, he will evaluate it carefully and make a judgment at that time. He will always strongly oppose the release of any terrorists onto American streets.

Who the hell said anything about letting the detainees wander American streets.  Harry needs to stop reciting Repuglican talking points, considering he is the Majority Leader in the Senate and all.  This coupled with the announcement that the Senate Democrats will kill any bill that will close Gitmo anytime soon and you can legitimately start to question these guys' interests.  In short why are you Democrats?  You certainly are not behaving as such.  It is no wonder Harry is in trouble for his re-election in 2010.  I hope he loses in the primary.
